It is with great pleasure that we see the responsibility for people and the environment becoming such a natural part of the business world. For us at Westal, it has always been this way. It is clear that many of our customers highly value products made in Sweden.

More and more are also specifically asking for products where parts can be replaced, such as the LED module, thus extending the product's lifespan. A shining example of this is our Jönköping lantern, which, after illuminating and adorning Rådhusparken in Jönköping for many years, can be taken down, converted to the latest LED technology, and then reinstalled. Long-term decisions at every level that create the conditions to live as we preach.

All of our Swedish-made luminaires also have spare parts available, meaning that it’s enough to replace only the necessary parts if the fixture should break. Good for the environment and good for you.

We help you restore antique lanterns

With production in Bankeryd and over 70 years of experience, we have the capability to restore antique lamps and lanterns.

With the help of modern 3D technology, we can recreate parts that may have worn away over time, and we can make the lantern as authentic as possible. Additionally, these can be equipped with new, modern LED technology that has a smaller environmental footprint.
