Westal acquires the lighting company Ledolight and establishes itself in Alingsås.

Westal continues its strong growth and acquires the lighting company Ledolight. The acquisition means that Westal, with the vision of becoming a complete lighting supplier, expands its already broad product range with emergency and exit lighting.

“It feels both exciting and fun to make an acquisition and to see Westal continue to grow. We see great potential in this product range, and it will be interesting to combine Ledolight’s production with the one we already have here in Bankeryd. We are looking forward to another exciting journey, this time with Ledolight’s former CEO/owner Dennis and his team,” comments Frida Alexandersson, CEO of Westal AB.

Since its inception, Westal has valued its role in supporting the Swedish manufacturing market, making the acquisition of Ledolight another step in the same direction. By expanding its range of Swedish-made luminaires, Westal not only strengthens its position as one of Sweden’s leading lighting suppliers, but also promotes the sustainability work that is close to its heart.

In addition to an expanded product range, the acquisition also means that Westal is establishing itself in Alingsås. Ledolight possesses very high operational expertise in emergency and exit lighting and brings solid experience and knowledge of Swedish production.
