OKQ8 enhances the lounge area at its stations
with customized Tratt pendants.
In its efforts to offer an even more inviting and modern atmosphere for its customers, OKQ8 has launched a project to upgrade the lounge areas at its stations across Sweden. The lounges have received a fresh, modern look with comfortable seating, tasteful decor, and a warm atmosphere. Ami Loupeidis, Concept Manager at OKQ8 and responsible for the project, explains: "Since we already have a collaboration with ROL Retail Concepts, we sought their help for this project as well," says Ami. ROL's role included finding suitable lighting options. "I was drawn to the Tratt pendant from Westal, both for its sleek design and the possibility of customizing it to our needs." Since OKQ8's brand colors are red and blue, the Tratt Pendants were painted red with a white interior. The red color created a great dynamic with the overall color and material palette of the concept. |
The Tratt Pendant features an E27 socket, allowing for the selection of the light source based on desired wattage and color temperature. In this concept, a larger light source was chosen, giving the fixtures an even more unique look. Tratt was designed by Westal’s founder, Holger Johansson, and was first launched in the 1970s as a wall-mounted copper fixture. Later, a pendant version was introduced, along with several material and color options. About OKQ8 |
