Westal Fixtures in VR
In the Spatial program, Westal has created a digital showroom featuring several of our fixtures. Using VR glasses, you can walk around and view the fixtures in their actual size, pick them up with your digital hands, rotate, move, enlarge, or shrink them. The room can also be accessed through a computer to view on-screen, but for the best experience, VR glasses are recommended.

Virtual Reality
VR stands for Virtual Reality, and the function is exactly what it sounds like – a digital environment created with interactive hardware and software that forms a virtual reality through specially designed VR glasses.

The VR glasses are a technical device placed in front of your eyes with a strap, somewhat like a pair of ski goggles. Inside the headset is a screen that displays a digital environment 360 degrees around you. As you move your head and the controllers in your hands, sensors respond to your movements, mirroring them in the digital environment.

AR is the opposite of VR and instead of entering a digital environment, it overlays a digital filter onto the real world using your mobile camera.
With our AR feature, it's easy to see directly on your phone how a fixture will look in place. It works equally well for home use as for business owners who want to plan things like an office.
